cf.Objective(): Developing Applications with ColdFusion 9 Object Relational Mapping (ORM)
Apr 2, 2010 at 6:09 AM It's not that $299 is a lot of money if that is all you are buying, one license for yourself. $299 is fair for that reason. But when working at a large Coldfusion development shop it isn't as feasible. I guess right now we are working with Adobe at getting a fair price. The other I guess little problem is it is so much like CFEclipse. Don't get me wrong there are things that Builder does that I LOVE. And would hate to give up. One other thing is that it was pretty much built on top of Aptana. It would of been nicer if it was it's own IDE completely. And I guess that's fine but since Aptana is mostly free it's almost like paying for Aptana. But the flash builder support is pretty nice, and at the moment I don't do a lot of flash development but I see in the near future it might be of use to me.
Apr 6, 2010 at 8:22 PM Seriously Bob, take a breath!!!! You acted like it was one of you five minute presentations. I think that you lost me about 12 times...
Have you ever heard this saying?
Two bulls stood on a hill. They looked down on a valley where a dozen cows grazed.
The young bull said, "Hey Pop, let's run down there and f$@k one of those heifer."
"No, Son," said the old bull. "Let's WALK down there and f$@k ALL those heifers."
Sometimes less is more!!!!
