Jan 24, 2012 at 8:43 AM forgot the uu2 link for listeners - https://github.com/dcepler/unofficial-updater2/wiki/Using-Unofficial-Updater-2
i ran into uu2 issues, mainly due to me not reading http://henke.ws/post.cfm/unofficial-updater-2-for-adobe-coldfusion-awesome
created an issue for scott's problem but didn't fill out much details https://github.com/dcepler/unofficial-updater2/issues/11
Jan 25, 2012 at 5:01 AM Scott,
I appreciate you trying out UU2 and mentioning it on <CFHour>. I do trying to make sure the user knows that using it is at their own risk. I am not quite sure what problems you ran into while trying to run it from listening to the show. Would it be possible for you create an issue on github or add to the one that Mike started?
It is possible to just run it as an Ant script (build.xml) if you have Ant 1.7+ and Ant Contrib.
Jan 25, 2012 at 6:06 AM I re-ran the updater to try and reproduce the issue and now CF is completely hosed. It won't even start. I added the details of the Updater 'output' and 'error' tabs to the ticket, as well as the error messages I get when trying to start ColdFusion.
Jan 25, 2012 at 1:47 PM Thanks for answering my silly question! Who would win in a fight between Sauron (Lord of the Rings), Ralph (Lord of the Flies), Michael Flatley (Lord of the Dance) and Darth Vader (Lord of the Sith)?
You came to the same answer that has been voted up on Quuora http://cfml.us/wH
